World of Work 2006 - Students

Students

Work Experience at school may be the first time you have been in a place of work for more than a few minutes. We hope you will find the experience interesting and rewarding.

We also hope you will learn new skills that will help you in your education and future work.

Work Experience is not necessarily about trying out your own career choice, but finding out about working life and work skills in general. It will help you to learn more about the world of work. That means understanding the workplace, working with other people, improving your skills and being able to communicate clearly with adults.

Online Student Diary You need to log-in to be able to see details of your work experience placement, make online Diary entries and record skills. If you don't have a log-in name and password ask your form teacher / tutor or your school's work experience coordinator.
